I find that my application of paper, drawings, and paint forgiving; allowing me to add and subtract elements as I felt necessary. I need to go back and reflect again on each image created, adjust the images visually by adding or subtracting elements. Old letters, reminders, clippings, fortunes from fortune cookies, dates and debris fill the space with the over lay of washes of paint, scribbles of markers and other media. These items are reminders and memories of past experiences to be re-examined and to gain understanding. These items and their lack vague meanings also serve as prospective, future understanding for meanings I, as well as the viewer, may not comprehend yet.
